A Pleasant Suprise long overdue! Datuk Nicol .Malaysiakini

With all the hot and fiery news evolving the political scenario of the country, our own sports squash queen is to be awarded the Darjah Setia Pangkuan which carries the title Datuk , though long overdue but a deserving candidate. A soothing diversion from all the bickering, backstabbing and dramas. Congratulations to Datuk Nicol David, hopefully the country can produce more like her.

artic turban said...: congratulations NICOL DAVID ON YOUR WELL DESERVED TITLE, I know a lot of people have been awarded titles by hanging on your coat- tails sepecially those given titles of dato who headed the squash racket association malaysia. there are a lot of people there who will exploit you if you are not astute, listen to your parents as they know best what you have sacrificed to achieve what you have achieved. Its a pity rascism had a hand in you not getting a title as far back as 2004/5. unlike some average people from bowling and others who attempt mediocre attempts. don't worry they are what you would call jaguh kampung.Keep up the good work and don't let the slimeballs from political parties use and discard you.; July 12, 2008 at 6:54 AM
